Senior Youth Worker

This is an exciting opportunity for a Christian passionate and gifted in supporting young people, helping them grow, and come to know Jesus Christ.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Youth Worker to work alongside vulnerable, unchurched young people in North Bradford through school’s work, running groups and activities, and draw them into the life and faith of Sorted Church. Sorted is run ‘by young people for young people’, an ethos you will embrace whilst developing relationships to empower, enable and equip young people.
• be joyfully confident in your own identity in Christ and a willingness to share that faith appropriately within the ministry context of Sorted
• care deeply about young people and understand the issues they face
• be collaborative, self-motivated and professional
• be willing to try new approaches and pioneer new ways of ministry in a challenging area
Support exists within the Sorted team, as well as the Church Army Missional Community and wider Anglican church. Training will be provided locally and by Church Army.
Salary: £11.00 per hour, 21 hours per week
