Moving time for Andy Milne & Tracy Milne

Andy Milne has been appointed by the Archbishop of York to lead a new Missional Youth Church Network (MYCN) beginning in the North of England. It is in joint partnership with Church Army and the Archbishop of York Youth Trust.

The vision of MYCN is to establish at least 30 missional youth churches (MYC) over the next five years, enabling 11-18 year olds to build community and discover faith in Jesus Christ. Local schools and colleges, churches and community projects will work together in partnership to reimagine church for this generation. Youth leaders and volunteers will become part of a wider learning network accessing training, encouragement and support for one another as they build for the future.

Andy starts his new role on 1 April.

Sorted and Bradford Centre of Mission (Church Army)continues to thrive and Tracy Milne has been appointed to succeed Andy and lead the project.

Tracy has co-led with Andy for a number of years and will provide a smooth transition of leadership. Church Army will be advertising for a Pioneer Evangelist to join Tracy and the team of volunteers in Bradford.
Please join us in praying for all of the above people as they prepare to move from their existing jobs into new roles.

Sorted’s Party Time – New Years Eve 2018

Sorted starts the New Year off with a non alcoholic party which sees 51 attendees for their 1st party. Families, young people and 18+ all gather and enjoy interacting with different party games. The night went so fast that we didn’t get to play all the games, sing all the karaoke songs or dance all the party dances. We did however, let in the New Year with gusto and look forward to the promises/blessings that God is storing for us in 2019.

Curtis dresses up as a snowman, curtesy of a challenge which young people could not refuse
Karaoke – Kat, Natalie and Morgan manage to prise the mike off the young people for a quick song.

Sorted wishes and prays that everyone receives God’s blessings in full this year, including His Grace, Peace, Joy and Purpose as we journey together, exploring the unexplored areas of our lives and walking and talking with our Saviour.

Cheesy grins all around at our 1st ever New Year’s Eve Party
Blindfold feed trifle to the player on your left … errr thats ya dad then!
The tail end of party dancing, all the others are out of view, sorry about that!!

Sorted hopes you all have as much fun as we did and we are looking forward to 2019: so far we are baptising, confirming, marrying, partying, growing, studying, socialising and accepting unconditionally those who wish to discover their own journey’s of life, spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. May we all enjoy the joys and persevere through the challenges.

Tracy asks: Should we have another party next year?

Every volunteer, young person, families, young adults all resoundingly say YES; looks like another diary date to fill in
