On 25th June 2017 Sorted sees several young people being baptised on the River Wharf at Ilkley followed by a community barbecue with 33 people attending the event.
We had an amazing day in Leeds on the 14th June 2017 in Leeds Trinity Church. Pioneers both local and as afar away as Newcastle gather to share practice, challenges and successes . It is our first Pioneer Hub. Andy Milne (Sorted) and Andy Wilson (RolltheRock) are the organisers and the feedback is positive. Another Hub session will be in the Autumn term, probably in Oct. Please email email@example.com for more details, times and venue.
Please pray for this to be an informal, inspiring initiative that catches pioneers imagination and sets them on fire for the Gospel.
Sorted are baptising young people in the river at IIlkley on 11th June 2017 at 2pm. Exciting to be part of young people’s discipleship as they journey onwards. Looking forward to the barbecue afterwards as well!
Due to the weather, Sorted has cancelled baptisms in the river today..
New date, 25th June, same place and time.
hope to see you all there
Carl Firth is Sorted’s youth leader who took the responsibility of leading our spring reflection/prayer day for staff and volunteers. Carl who has no formal training, academic accolades is a DNA prodigy of Sorted. He began the time together by introducing the topic, setting out special times to reflect, creating sacred spaces uses media and art and craft. An interactive day which concludes with sharing the Lord’s table with Rev Tracy Milne presiding. Many congratulations to Carl and thanks for all who came.
