Sorted has reproduced locally 1, 2 and 3 but we’ve also sent Moses Bantu back to Nairobi, Kenya to work amongst young people living in extremely deprived communities. Moses has taken much of what he learnt as a GAP year student in Bradford and applied it in Kenya.
Nick Lebey spent 4 years with Sorted and moved to south London in 2013 to pioneer T.Y.M. using the Sorted DNA and model, Nick has pioneered a youth church following a similar pattern to what he learnt in Bradford.
Reproduction means asking questions – what is the context I’m pioneering in? What are the needs and aspirations of the people I’m working amongst? What of the Sorted DNA will transfer into this context and what won’t? We are now trying to help others working in different contexts to pioneer fresh expressions of church by passing on what we’ve learnt through pioneering Sorted a number of times.
