A warm welcome for Sorted by the Lord Mayor
The Lord Mayor of Bradford heard that Sorted was celebrating 20 years since our first meeting with young people and invited us for a cuppa!
We’d have loved to have taken all our volunteers and staff and all our young people but the rooms were very small… so we sent our Sorted Council’s young people to represent us all.
The Lord Mayor Councillor Bev Mullaney gave us a very warm welcome, listened as the young people described Sorted and what we stand for and what we do. She was really helpful offering to connect us with people she knew.
And we also enjoyed tea in some very posh cups and saucers in the room under the famous Bradford clock tower and got an amazing tour of City Hall’s chambers. Big thanks to the Lord Mayor who made it an afternoon to remember.
