Visit by Archbishop

Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell has visited Sorted for the first time for a live event which saw thousands of young people across the country say the Lord’s Prayer together.

Sorted’s young people were able to hear from the Archbishop during the event which took place at St John’s, Greengates on Pentecost Sunday, May 19.

What you’re doing here at Sorted is creating a space where younger people can feel the church belongs to them
— Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell

In true live TV style, the broadcast wasn’t without its technical issues for several venues, including Sorted. But the young people were able to hear from Archbishop Stephen about prayer being a bit like filling up the car, much more like breathing and especially like spending time with God and being loved by him.
