Sorted in Schools

When young people recognise the blue t-shirts worn by our team in school, our hope is they know we will take time to listen and respect them. For us, this is our opportunity to work with our local school communities to look after the young person’s wellbeing, separate from any conversation about marks or homework. Our remit is to be a friendly face and someone young people can talk to.

We do this through lunch clubs at both Immanuel College, Idle and Delta Hanson Academy, Bradford. Our young people live in Bolton, Eccleshill, Greengates, Idle, Thorpe Edge and Wrose. Sorted in Schools is usually our first point of contact.

The young people we meet are typically living with a variety of issues from low self esteem to anxiety, grief, uncertainty or poverty to questions about identity and where they fit in. And we’re there for them.
